This month I'm working on revising (so many things lol), but one of those things is a short story! It's a secondary world fantasy where a young library page goes in search of her sister and the other girls who have gone missing from the city's library. As you can imagine, books and libraries play a huge part in the story and its themes.

A young boy asks a girl he barely knows to do a terrible act and she does.
I knew the way to his dad’s headstone as though it were my own father—wish that bastard was dead instead of just gone, but luck falls on the beautiful not the brave.
But the possibilities of a dead thing are endless in the minds of teens.
Take this as a warning: shut your blinds, you never know what will come knocking.
