In honor of you and in order to help the creator community that we are all in, I created an infograph that will explain how I went about building my sustainable writing practice and how you can build one as well for whatever it is that you are working on.
I’m going to get into how to make openings that will really grab your readers and editors. There is also a challenge for people who want to take their learning a little bit further.
I hope as you read this you to feel the weight of what I speak and know that there is a need for your words and stories. I need them. You need them. And someone you have never met needs them the most.
How many writers can honestly say that they actually work at their craft and put themselves to the test, so they aren’t continually writing the same story over and over again, but in different ways or settings? How many writers try to be better than they were before by practicing and learning their craft in all its weird facets?
This could all go to hell and turn into another bad pairing of talents, but I hope that it won't, and it'll grow into something like each of the writers who will attend.
Black Mirror has so much to teach us as storytellers. The way the creators design the plots and build the characters speaks volumes on our world and the dangers that we are facing.
To me, writing is a job I never applied for.
