New Job, Who This?

April 4, 2020 ~ Aigner Loren Wilson

It goes like this. Ever since I was a kid, I always wanted to be a writer. So that’s what I’ve done since I was a kid. Been a writer. Getting up early a majority of days to hit my desk, chasing down leads, and dreaming up ideas to pitch. There have been times when … Continue reading New Job, Who This?

What Dreams Are Made Of

I wanted to make a full post for this because I'm so damn excited. My little weird horror fantasy book, 'To Carve Home in Your Bones,' is going to be in a future issue of The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction. Date nite baking with baby. We made milk bread! This past week, I wrote the rough/zero draft for my next book during the mornings before starting my other work. It was exhausting, exhilarating, and a hell of a ride. I'm used to fast drafting, but this was the first time I've drafted a new project of this size for my own work in like 6 months. And damn, I never slept so good. I'm building a new course specifically around writing scenes. Working with writers as both an editor and writer, I've noticed it's one of those aspects about writing that often gets overlooked or left underdeveloped on the page. Baguettes I've made over the weeks. From 1st to latest. Not all pretty, but all delicious. Link in bio!
