In the end, the sun chased the moon until it caught them in its fangs. Once caught, the moon used their superpowers to coat the sun’s ravenous mouth in slick metallic oil that poisoned the sun. When the sun died, the sky turned black and rotten, hatching demons made of shadow and smoke. They tore up the last remaining seams of the universe and stitched a new world, our world, from the tattered pieces.
