This workshop is designed around an anti-racist approach to giving graduate-level feedback that goes beyond the Milford Model. Writers in the class are advocates and not critics of the stories shared, allowing for feedback based on what will help the author of the story better their premise and writing.
During my two hour class on Troubleshooting Your Scenes on May 20th, I will teach writers the common mistakes authors make, advanced scene writing techniques like sequels and turning points, and answer questions from authors on how to fix their broken scenes.
