Advanced Writing Workshop – May 24th

I have been asked by a lot of mentees and writers to create a workshop experience for writers that use the intentional, deliberate, and knowledgeable frameworks of learning I have used in mentorships and during contract work for more people.

So I have designed a monthly workshop series for writers from all over to participate in. The catch is these are small, intensive workshops where youโ€™ll bring in your writing, receive direct editorial feedback, and leave with a clear understanding of whatโ€™s working, whatโ€™s not, and how to fix it. Workshops are facilitated and led by me to ensure comments go beyond “that was cool” or “I didnโ€™t like that.”

These classes are 3 hours and have a 5 writer limit to allow for in-depth critique of a 5,000 word short story or excerpt.

Meet other writers. Get critical in-depth feedback. Fix your stories.

The first workshop is set for May 24th 2 PM to 5 PM PDT and is open for registration.

Reserve Your Spot – $150

This workshop is designed around an anti-racist approach to giving graduate-level feedback that goes beyond the Milford Model. Writers in the class are advocates and not critics of the stories shared, allowing for feedback based on what will help the author of the story better their premise and writing.
